Jonathan & Rebecca live in London, Ontario – the city that Jonathan’s grandparents’ family originally immigrated to (following World War II) from Holland in the 1950’s. As a proud Canadian, registered nurse and former counselor with diverse community experience, Jonathan has identified the need for Londoners to have the opportunity of obtaining professional home healthcare services designed to their specific needs and delivered at high quality with an emphasis on making a real difference. Rebecca, having nursing roots in the United Kingdom, after being educated at the prestigious Florence Nightingale School of Nursing, has extensive experience within the home care sector in Ontario. She brings an unparalleled perspective and level of experience to the table. Her favorite Nurse Next Door core value is WOW customer experience.

Jonathan & Rebecca’s nursing experience comprises several years of public health, CCAC, hospital and community nursing combined. They know home care. Acknowledging the growing demands of healthcare in the community, they saw Nurse Next Door as a way to supplement and improve upon the care that currently exists and break new ground in the world of home care. Their carefully selected caregivers truly deliver a quality human service and go above and beyond in many unique ways.

While Rebecca & Jonathan are excited to be able to direct their business in the direction of what they had originally envisioned when they went into healthcare – to improve people’s quality of life, Rebecca & Jonathan also recognize that keeping people safe, happy and healthy at their home is one of the most important health goals anyone can have. They spend much of their time working directly with clients, caregivers and other healthcare providers to help improve the level of care being delivered and overall rapport.
