Making Lives Better
Nurse Next Door believes that home care is about caring, not just health care. Rather than taking a task-based approach of treating symptoms, Nurse Next Door looks at the overall well-being of clients and uses a holistic approach to senior home care that focuses on a client’s happiness. To get a sense of an individual’s needs and wants, Rosa asks one simple question: “What is it that you used to love doing that you’re currently unable to do?” From this, Nurse Next Door carefully matches each client with a knowledgeable, compassionate and professional care provider who can help them set and achieve their desired goals. Nurse Next Door seeks not only to ensure their clients’ overall health and well-being but to also help them continue to lead meaningful lives.
Our Talent is Caring
Rosa and her team understand the importance of having care providers whom clients can trust and rely on. That’s why she only hires those who both have the talent for caring and the willingness to go above and beyond to connect with their clients, help them do things they love to do and bring joy to their lives. At Nurse Next Door, aging is celebrated, and families are provided with the peace of mind they deserve.

Behind the heart
Rosa knows first-hand how overwhelming it can be when a loved one requires care. Her late grandfather was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s; watching him struggle mentally and physically was just as challenging as providing for his increasing needs. At Nurse Next Door, Rosa aims to alleviate the strain on other families as they face similar hardships.
Rosa understands what it takes to provide the kinds of services families need and want. A graduate of University of Pennsylvania, she brings numerous years of experience in client and resource management in the Health Care Insurance and Corporate Retail sectors. She also brings a deep desire to help others. While busy working in the corporate world, she actively sought different ways to serve the community. For many years, she volunteered as a counselor to underserved youth in New York City, helping them become confident, caring and community-oriented young adults. She also spent time providing job training and transitional housing for homeless families at an emergency shelter in Philadelphia. These experiences helped her realize how one-on-one support can truly make a difference in people’s lives.
With the growing demand for home care services for seniors within her community in Bergen County, Rosa is committed to making premiere care and high quality of life accessible for all families.
