"What a compassionate group of people! Initially there were a number of visits to get to know our daughter, her routine, and draft up a careplan. The owner and another partner from the company actually came and did a hands-on shift with our little girl, which was particularly impressive to us! The consistency and quality of care which was of utmost importance to us, was delivered above and beyond our expectations. Our deep gratitude to you all at Nurse Next Door Home Healthcare Services, who helped support our little girl and our family as a whole, through some challenging times."
 - Lorinda and Tony L.

"The service was professional and warm. My nurse although new was excellent, on-time and caring. ... I feel Dave, Scott and Colleen provided me with the best care possible. Thank-you for your services. It is great to know I can travel and have what I have at home for the most independent I can be."

- Deb M.

" I would like to start by saying that I will always be a positive reference for Nurse Next Door. Our experience is one that went beyond expectation. Even now I am still telling people about how wonderful an experience it was. So much so, that it was actually sad and a letdown when we were no longer in need of assistance from Nurse Next Door.... As a result of Nurse Next Door, I am no longer in need of surgery. Thanks for the help!!"

- N.

Having been friends for over a quarter century, couples David & Tricia Russell and Scott & Lynn Jacobsen parlayed their friendship into a business partnership in order to bring much needed homecare services to Kelowna.

David and Tricia bring with them a unique combination of experience. David, a successful Investment Advisor who spent much of his time helping retired and retiring clients with financial needs, saw the care needs of his clients slowly grow and knew he could help. Tricia, meanwhile, after raising 3 children for 16 years, further pursued her passion for caregiving by earning her certification as a community care worker and eventually studying to become a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Scott and Lynn bring even more healthcare knowledge to the Kelowna Nurse Next Door franchise. Together the two have more than 30 years of experience as Registered Psychiatric Nurses and are both passionate and dedicated to helping others achieve and maintain their optimal level of wellness. This healthcare power couple are focused on marrying the ‘business’ side of healthcare with world-class, patient-centric care.

With years of experience and ambitious goals in mind, these two couples are on a mission to become the homecare provider of choice in the Central Okanagan while remaining socially responsible and influential members of the business community.
