Making a great present for a loved one, the service can be purchased on blocks of 10 or 20 hour packages. End of Life Care Service - Palliative Care

Back Up/Emergency Care

Are you the caregiver for a family member and need a day off?  Did your private caregiver get sick or go on holiday?  Do you have a big meeting and need a replacement?  Call us and we will provide back up/emergency home health care for you as soon as we can.  

Post Operative Home Health Care Service

Hospitals now recommend that someone stay for 24 hours with a post operation patient who has same - day discharge.  In fact, many hospitals will not perform a surgery if you do not bring someone who can accompany you home. Often family members are busy professionals who can’t take the time off of work to help a loved one. 

We will:

• Pick up and accompany to hospital 

• Pick up from hospital and accompany home

• Pick up medications on the way if required 

• Get client settled in the home 

• Stay as long as required and until anesthetic wears off 

• Help with the activities of daily living such as going to the bathroom, walking, bathing and grooming

• Meal preparation

You can order our post operative health care packages in blocks of 12 and 24 hour packages. 

Care-A-Call-Away: The Corporate Home Health Care Program

Those who help care for elderly family members are often faced with emotional, social, financial, medical and logistical issues and often report higher levels of stress. In turn, caregiving responsibilities often leave them with a choice: work or family.  Nurse Next Door understands this and has developed the “Care-A-Call-Away” program. Senior Care Birthday Packages

Do you live out of town and are you unable to make it to your elderly parent’s birthday?  Do you want to do something special for mom or dad? Our caregiver will visit in the morning, help with breakfast, get your loved one dressed for the occasion and take them out for some fun on their special day.  Maybe they can get her hair done, go out to lunch or visit the park – give us a call and we’ll help create an extra special day for your loved one.
