Kelowna Nurse Next Door Celebrates Grand Opening
Kelowna, BC – The Partners of Nurse Next Door Kelowna celebrated their grand opening on October 15, 2008 at the Ramada Hotel in Kelowna.
After an extensive selection process, Kelowna is the first of three Okanagan locations to be awarded a Nurse Next Door franchise. Amongst numerous social workers, transition nurses, case workers and various healthcare workers, Mayor Sharron Shepherd and local media celebrities Maxine DeHart and Phil Johnson were entertained by local Jazz vocalist Ellen Churchill.
“We are very excited about the reception Nurse Next Door has received here in Kelowna. We knew there was a need, but it seems that the exceptional reputation that Nurse Next Door has earned over the past 7 years in other locations has preceded our opening,” said partner David Russell, who was in attendance with the three other partners, Tricia Russell, LPN, Scott Jacobsen RPN and Lynn Jacobsen, RPN and Clinical nurse educator.
