The backlash has begun.

People are sick and tired of the negativity surrounding the economic downturn.

The Kelowna Nurse Next Door franchise started just as the economy started to tank about six months ago.

“We‘ve found we‘re recession proof,” said co-owner David Russell.

“Our clients are mostly seniors who want medical and non-medical assistance in their homes and have set money aside for and put a high priority on health care.”

Month-over-month, Nurse Next Door in Kelowna has seen increases in business of 30 per cent. Call 250-450-9750.
