Nurse Next Door Co-Founders Win 2006 Ernst & Young Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the Pacific Region

October 5, 2006 (Vancouver, BC) - Nurse Next Door is proud to announce that co-founders Ken Sim and John DeHart have been awarded the 2006 Ernst and Young Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the Pacific Region for their tireless efforts in building their home healthcare company into one of BC’s most recognizable homecare service providers.
Known as the “Academy Awards®” of Canadian business, the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards recognize the best and brightest business leaders in Canada. Past winners have included former Chancellor of Simon Fraser University and current Chairman of Nurse Next Door, Milton Wong, Chairman and CEO of London Drugs and current SFU Chancellor, Brandt Louie, and Chairman of MDS Metro Laboratory Services, Don Rix.

Ken and John have grown Nurse Next Door from an idea at a coffee shop to one of the largest home healthcare companies in the province in only 5 years.
