Having spent over a decade practicing physiotherapy, husband and wife duo Paul Girard and Carmen Eberle wanted to take their experience and build something special in Penticton. After finding deep satisfaction working with seniors, especially in the home setting, Paul and Carmen knew they wanted to help provide the care that allowed seniors to remain comfortably at home. Nurse Next Door was a natural fit as it allowed them to deliver desperately needed home care services to Penticton seniors.

Having obtained Bachelor’s of Science degrees in Physiotherapy from the University of Saskatchewan in 1995, Paul and Carmen spent the next 10 years working in a variety of settings in both Canada and the United States. With all of their experience in the healthcare space, Paul and Carmen knew they were ready to bring Penticton seniors the elderly home care services they need.

With their passion for senior home care and their commitment to Penticton, Paul and Carmen are on their way to making Nurse Next Door the leader in home healthcare in the local area. They have made it their to goal to build Nurse Next Door into the premier home care service provider in Penticton and the employer of choice for the best caregivers in town!
