What is Veterans Affairs?
The Veterans Affairs (VA) is a federal government agency that is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to veterans, as well as a wide range of benefits and services to veterans, their families, and survivors. With 170 medical centers and over 1000 outpatient clinics, the VA operates 1255 healthcare facilities nationwide.
The VA offers healthcare, including home care, disability compensation, education and training, home loan assistance, and more, demonstrating its dedication to providing support and care to those who have sacrificed for our country.

Steps to Get Started
Getting started with Nurse Next Door and the Veterans Affairs (VA) Home Care Program is easy. Here are the steps you need to follow to access our in-home care services:
Contact your local VA office
The first step is to contact your local VA office to determine your eligibility for the VA Home Care Program.
Connect with Nurse Next Door
Once you’ve been approved for the program, you can connect with your local Nurse Next Door Care Team to start the process of setting up in-home care services.
Schedule a consultation
We’ll work with you to schedule a free consultation with one of our care experts, who will assess your needs and develop a customized care plan.
Get started with Nurse Next Door
Once your care plan has been developed, our Care Team will work with you to schedule your first visit. We’ll be there to provide support and assistance every step of the way.
