Franchisee Carol Lange is an award-winning homecare expert with over 30 years of experience in healthcare including 17 years in homecare. “Helping people to live better through innovation has been my career mission. Bringing premium quality home care and ‘Happier Aging’ to our homecare clients has been my absolute passion for the past 16 years.”
Carol's continuing mission is creating a great place to work and providing world-class customer service to her clients. Carol believes wholeheartedly in the philosophy of Happier Aging and brings it to life for clients daily through an amazing Care team of professional Caregivers, Healthcare Assistants and Nurses. They provide reliable, consistent and compassionate care from just a few hours weekly to 24-7 care, and everything in between.
Carol is passionate about using her wealth of experience in homecare, healthcare and caring to help people find the supports they need. In 2008 after experiencing the many challenges that came with arranging care for her elderly mom, Carol left her 16-year corporate career in healthcare to bring world-class homecare to her local communities. Since then, her personal experiences with dementia and elder care have only grown to include helping cousins, aunts, in-laws, many friends and hundreds of clients.

What if I need to speak to someone after business hours?
Our Care Services Center is open 24/7. Call anytime, and one of our Care Services Specialists will be happy to assist you.
When should we consider 24-hour home care?
Use this list to help you decide if continuous monitoring is something you should consider:
- The person doesn’t sleep through the night (or gets up more than 2-3 times per night).
- The person has difficulty moving around and is at a high risk of falls.
- The person was recently (or is about to be) discharged from the hospital and needs constant monitoring.
- The person’s spouse or relative is exhausted from helping day and night.

How much does Nurse Next Door cost?
Nurse Next Door's services vary in price depending on the level of care required and the Nurse Next Door Care team that services your area. To get a better idea of pricing in your area, speak to one of our Care Services Specialists—we're open any time, 24/7.
We also offer a complimentary Caring Consult™, during which one of our care designers will help you determine the amount of care you may require. We'll then work with you to balance your budget and needs and find a home care option for you.
Can I trial Nurse Next Door or do I have to sign a long-term contract?
You are not locked into a long-term contract as a Nurse Next Door client.
To try out Nurse Next Door, just contact us to book a complimentary, no-obligation Caring Consult™. One of our care designers will visit your home to assess your needs and design a care plan with you, including frequency and duration of care.
Are your home care services only for seniors?
No. We provide home care services to people of all ages. While our specialty is providing Happier Aging® experiences to seniors, we also assist with disability care, post-operative care, and more for children and adults.

Will I have the same Care Team all the time?
At Nurse Next Door, we strive to provide consistent care with regularly assigned caregivers. If your Caregiver isn’t available, we will ensure a suitable replacement that meets your unique needs.
Does Nurse Next Door conduct a background check for Caregivers?
Yes, all Nurse Next Door Caregivers are carefully screened with criminal background checks, vulnerable sector checks and reference checks. We verify our Caregivers' educational credentials upon hire and ensure, on an annual basis, that every Nurse is registered and in good standing with their respective College of Nurses.
