Vivien Sunday: Ottawa, ON   

Vivien was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021. Today, she shows incredible strength and compassion everyday in her role as a Caregiver. Vivien’s bold dream is to support a close friend in Nigeria who is also navigating breast cancer but has had to pause treatment due to financial barriers.

Through her efforts to seek support from non-profits, Vivien continues to advocate for others. A $1,000 contribution will help fund one life-changing treatment for her friend, bringing hope, healing, and the chance to continue her journey forward.

LaTonya Hines: SugarLand, TX 

LaTonya is a true pillar of her community, running a non-profit organization that feeds over 1,000 people each month and opening her own personal care home for elderly veterans. LaTonya is deeply dedicated to serving veterans, seniors, and disabled individuals in underprivileged areas.

 A $1,000 contribution will provide essential food, toiletries, and hygiene supplies, allowing her to continue making a profound impact on the lives of those who need it most.

Brandi Romero: Albuquerque, NM 

Brandi is on a heartfelt mission to honor her late family members by publishing a sensory-based cookbook filled with cherished recipes and invaluable life lessons. She is currently pouring her heart into translating these memories into writing and gathering old photographs. 

A $1,000 contribution will cover professional publishing, layout design, and photo restoration, helping her preserve her family's beautiful legacy for generations to come.

Carolina Granja: Vancouver, BC  

Carolina is working tirelessly to secure her future by building an apartment complex in her home country of Colombia. To fund this ambitious project, she has shown incredible dedication by taking on extra hours and making significant personal sacrifices. 

A $1,000 contribution will go towards her project, bringing her one step closer to realizing her dream of financial independence.

Kate Ojiogo: The Woodlands, TX

Kate has a deep passion for uplifting the less privileged and dreams of one day launching her own Non-Governmental Organization. She is already making a global impact by partnering with Compassion International to sponsor an adopted child in Kenya. 

A $1,000 contribution will fully fund her adopted son’s high school education, giving him the incredible gift of learning without the worry of financial barriers.

Ashley Miller: Central Valley & Bay, CA

Ashley is an incredibly resilient single mother of four who dreams of specializing in geriatrics by earning her Bachelor's degree in Nursing. She is currently balancing family life while attending school full-time, diligently working toward her associate degree. 

A $1,000 contribution will help ease her financial stress, empowering her to stay focused on her education and her bright future in healthcare.

Katherine Rivera: Burnaby, BC

Katherine has been away from her home in the Philippines for nearly three years and holds a beautiful dream of returning to visit her 98-year-old grandfather, her lifelong biggest supporter. Saving for such a significant trip takes time. 

A $1,000 contribution will cover her airline ticket, bridging the distance and giving her a priceless, long awaited reunion with her beloved grandfather.

Carrie Burd: Oakville, ON

Carrie is deeply committed to providing compassionate end-of-life care, with dreams of becoming a Registered Practical Nurse in hospice and one day teaching future caregivers. She has already completed specialized training and earned acceptance into a bridging program for Fall 2026. 

A $1,000 contribution will cover her upcoming tuition, supporting her journey to bring comfort and dignity to patients in their final stages of life.

Melissa Lariviere: Comox, BC

Melissa is a hardworking single mother currently juggling three jobs, yet she remains steadfast in her dream of achieving financial stability for her family by becoming a paramedic or heavy equipment driver. She is actively studying for her required certifications and licenses. 

A $1,000 contribution will cover her course fees and driving test, removing a major financial hurdle and paving the way to her career goals.

Arvinder Kaur: White Rock, BC

Arvinder is a dedicated caregiver working hard to build a beautiful, stable future for her growing family. As she prepares to welcome her first baby this April, her greatest wish is to have her mother by her side for this monumental milestone. 

A $1,000 contribution will help purchase her mother’s flight to Canada, providing Arvinder with invaluable love and support as she transitions into motherhood.

Aleena Eldo: Cornwall, ON

Aleena is driven by a profound desire to become a compassionate nurse and elevate the way people perceive the nursing profession. She is immersing herself in her full-time studies and gaining vital hands-on experience through clinical and home care work.

A $1,000 contribution will cover the fees for her NCLEX Nursing exam, helping her cross the final threshold toward her inspiring career in healthcare.

Amandeep Kaur: Mississauga, ON

Amandeep is an internationally trained nurse with a bold dream of becoming a Registered Nurse in Canada. While working tirelessly as a caregiver, she is navigating the lengthy and costly licensing process and preparing for her exams. 

A $1,000 contribution will pay for her credential assessment, clearing a critical financial barrier and bringing her one step closer to resuming her true calling.

Marisol Cortez: South Bay & Coast, CA

Marisol is a trailblazing first generation student with a bold vision to become a therapist, break mental health stigmas, and bring accessible care to underserved communities. She is actively pursuing this mission through her graduate studies in counseling psychology.

 A $1,000 contribution will help alleviate the heavy burden of tuition, allowing her to channel her energy into becoming the advocate and healer her community needs.

Angelica Rodriguez: Pinellas, FL

Angelica is pouring her heart and soul into becoming a highly skilled and compassionate nurse. She shows incredible dedication every day as she balances rigorous college coursework, clinical practice, and caregiving. 

A $1,000 contribution will provide essential funding for her classes and clinical supplies, investing directly in her promising future as a healthcare hero.

Asha Abdullahi: Edmonton/St Albert, AB

Asha’s three impactful years as a caregiver have deeply inspired her to take the next leap in her healthcare journey and become a nurse. She is currently gearing up to begin her Licensed Practical Nurse program this upcoming September. 

A $1,000 contribution will help ease the financial weight of school and daily expenses, empowering her to focus fully on her passionate pursuit of nursing.
