What you will lead in this role: As the People Experience Coordinator, you work in partnership with the team to lead the people initiatives, and support the Talent Care Recruiter to recruit passionate Caregivers. This is to ensure we have high volume branded caregivers to deliver premium care to our clients. You will also ensure that all people systems and initiatives are executed according to Nurse Next Door’s operating model, purpose of Making Lives Better, core values and brand.  The People Experience Coordinator role is essential to meet our Brand Promise of giving our clients Peace of Mind. You will make a significant impact in the lives of our client’s and grow the business.   Availability: 
  • Full-time Monday- Friday and flexible on weekends
  • You will manage your hours by what is required by the role and the business needs 
Business Relationships 
  • Works closely in partnership with Caregivers, Clients, and all other supporting roles in HQ
This role will drive results through the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Onboarding:
  • Collaborates with the Care Designers and other supporting roles to understand staffing needs for hiring on a weekly basis to deliver our brand promise of Making Lives Better
  • Wow our caregivers during our Weekly Onboarding Discovery (orientation) Day
  • Admiring new caregivers by delivering personalized compensation packages
  • Setting up Caregivers for success by training employees efficiently to use all Nurse Next Door systems such as AlayaCare and Gmail
  • Putting together employee files and creating files into AlayaCare to ensure all new files are in alignment with Nurse Next Door operating model
  • Leads, implements and ensures 100% adoption of new People programs and special projects
  • Educates Caregivers on our NPS employee survey to really understand how we are driving our Wow Customer experience with our Caregivers
  • Collaborates effectively with Care Designers to match Caregivers to Clients to deliver on our Brand Promise of the perfect match
  • Takes a proactive approach in supporting Caregivers with scheduling solutions as needed
  • Employee Engagement:
  • Leading Nurse Next Door’s caregiver compliance by analyzing data and arranging follow ups with Caregivers and Care Designers
  • Champion of employee engagement, growth and development opportunities in line with the Year of the Caregiver initiatives
  • Being passionate about supporting caregivers with technological questions and delegating to Care Team to assist as needed
  • Builds relationships with existing employees to understand career goals and support with identifying a future career roadmap
  • Demonstrates self-leadership by managing Employee data integrity and ensuring all active files are up to date in Google drive and our scheduling software
  • Finding better ways to oversee all administrative policies, procedures and practices to be in compliance with employment standards; be the expert in your local market
  • Admiring Caregivers by being the point of contact for payroll related questions and being able to delegate to Care Team
  • Following up with Caregiver experience when their journey ends with Nurse Next Door and ensuring it is alignment with Nurse Next Door’s core values
  • Key Metrics:
  • Never say no to a client request or turn down a visit due to lack of caregivers
  • NPS; Client and Employee Score of 10
  • Ensures staffing levels are above 25% and zero cancelled visits due to lack of available staff
Skills & Experience
  • Experience recruiting Caregivers that exude the Nurse Next Door Brand, they have a heart and love to care for seniors in their home
  • Minimum two years customer service experience
  • Intentional organization, planning, time management and multitasking skills
  • Demonstrated exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in G-Suite: Gmail, drive, docs, calendar

  • Fluency in other languages other than English considered an asset
  • Background or Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search (updated every 5 years for continued employment)
