As our Public Relations Specialist, you will help drive local, regional and national media attention across North America. You will be responsible for ensuring that Nurse Next Door’s national media strategy is receiving coverage and that the brand continues to generate award wins in strategic categories and markets. Nurse Next Door is expanding across the continent and around the world. To help us in our mission we are looking for a full-time Public Relations Specialist who will be able to drive our strategic media coverage and award applications.
Celebrate Nurse Next Door’s accolades through public relations
Act as Nurse Next Door’s main media contact, respond to general inquiries, and coordinate 3rd party partnerships
Research, identify and apply for opportunities in awards, press releases, features, publishing, and sponsorships, etc.
Skills & Experience
Incredibly resourceful and tenacious
Is an exceptional storyteller, naturally sales oriented
Loves getting on the phone with new people (and never afraid of a no)
Excellent at building relationships (active media outreach)
Is professional and results driven, yet lighthearted and fun
Experienced in Public Relations with one to three years experience
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Superb organization, planning, time management and multitasking skills
